The Nutty Boy presents a unique 'one man' tribute show dedicated to the best of Ska & Reggae from the 1960's to the present day.
His Ska & Reggae Tribute show specialises in the golden era spanning the 1970's and 1980's covering the major hits of:
Madness, The Specials, UB40, Bob Marley & The Wailers, John Holt, The Beat,
Bad Manners, Prince Buster, Laurel Aitken, The Selecter and many many more.
The Nutty Boy performs his Ska & Reggae Tribute show all over England, but mainly throughout London & Home Counties & East Anglia including Essex, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Suffolk.
The Nutty Boy also offers dedicated tribute shows to either music type, in case you'd prefer either The Nutty Boy Ska Tribute or The Nutty Boy Reggae Rockers Show instead of The Nutty Boy Ska & Reggae Tribute.
Mario's naturally versatile singing voice, allows him to effortlessly switch vocal styles , from Bob Marley to Suggs (Madness) to Ali Campbell (UB40) to Terry Hall (The Specials) and many more, even getting down and dirty with a bit of up to date Shaggy, Sean Paul, Gyptian and more.
Mario grew up with 2 very diverse musical passions from a very early age. From the age of 7 or so, Mario first experienced the music of Elvis Presley (Mario is already a renowned Elvis Tribute Artist), then at the tender age of 13, Mario heard Too Much Too Young by The Specials, and was instantly hooked by the modern Ska sound of Two Tone, Madness and the like, which later developed into a natural progression into Reggae of the late seventies and the early eighties, this being the foundation of Mario's current Tribute Show.
Mario's Tribute Show brings you the best in Ska and Reggae from the late seventies and early eighties and also throws in some modern Reggae classics for good measure. You can choose from his classic mix of Ska & Reggae tribute singing, to a show purely consisting of Ska or a show consisting of Reggae only. Or for a show really to please all the people all the time, Mario can even throw in some classic Elvis tribute songs if you wish. For an evening to remember contact Mario (see contact page)
